Terms and Conditions
Last updated: February 2026
Welcome to The Aleit Academy. These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of our website and, where applicable, enrolment in courses, programmes, workshops and other educational offerings provided by The Aleit Academy.
By using this website, submitting an enrolment or registration, or making payment for a course or programme, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Enrolment & Registration
Enrolment in any course or programme offered by The Aleit Academy is subject to availability and any applicable admission or eligibility requirements.
Students are responsible for ensuring that all information provided during registration and enrolment is complete, accurate and up to date.
The Aleit Academy reserves the right to accept or decline an application or enrolment where applicable.
2. Course Information
The Aleit Academy aims to ensure that all course descriptions, dates, fees, programme structures and other information displayed on our website are accurate and up to date.
However, course content, lecturers, schedules, venues, delivery methods and other programme details may be amended where reasonably necessary.
Where a significant change affects an enrolled student, The Aleit Academy will endeavour to communicate the change as soon as reasonably possible.
3. Fees & Payment
All applicable course or programme fees will be communicated before enrolment.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, full payment is required before enrolment is confirmed or access to an online programme, Learning Management System (LMS), course materials or other learning resources is granted.
Where payment plans or alternative payment arrangements are offered, the specific terms of those arrangements will be communicated separately and must be agreed to in writing.
Students remain responsible for ensuring that payments are made by the applicable due dates.
4. Refunds & Cancellations
Refund and cancellation terms may differ depending on the course, programme or service selected. Any course-specific terms presented during registration or enrolment will apply in addition to these general Terms and Conditions.
For online programmes, including Compact Courses, once the programme has commenced and access has been provided to the Learning Management System (LMS), course materials, learning resources, lecturer support and/or administrative assistance, tuition fees are generally non-refundable, subject to applicable South African law.
A student will generally not be entitled to a refund solely because they choose to discontinue a programme, fail to participate, or do not complete the programme.
If a student experiences circumstances that prevent them from continuing with a programme or making an agreed payment, they should contact The Aleit Academy as soon as possible. Any alternative arrangement, credit, postponement or other exception is at The Aleit Academy’s discretion, subject to applicable law, and must be confirmed in writing.
Where The Aleit Academy cancels a course or programme, affected students will be informed of the options available to them, which may include transfer, credit or refund, depending on the circumstances.
5. Online Learning & LMS Access
Where a programme is delivered online, students are responsible for ensuring that they have suitable internet access, equipment and software required to participate.
Login details and access to the LMS are intended solely for the registered student and may not be shared with another person.
Students may not reproduce, distribute, publish, sell, share or otherwise make course materials available to third parties without prior written permission from The Aleit Academy.
The Aleit Academy will take reasonable steps to maintain access to its online learning platforms but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability where disruptions are caused by maintenance, technical difficulties or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
6. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, all course materials, educational content, videos, presentations, documents, graphics, branding and other materials provided by The Aleit Academy remain the intellectual property of The Aleit Academy and/or the relevant rights holder.
Course materials are provided for the registered student’s personal educational use only.
No material may be copied, reproduced, distributed, republished, commercially exploited or shared without prior written permission.
7. Student Responsibilities
Students are expected to participate professionally and respectfully in all Academy activities and to comply with any applicable academic, attendance, assessment and conduct requirements communicated for their programme.
The Aleit Academy reserves the right to take appropriate action where a student engages in misconduct, plagiarism, academic dishonesty, harassment, misuse of Academy resources or other behaviour that materially breaches Academy policies or programme requirements.
8. Diploma, Certificates & Completion
Where a course or programme includes a Diploma or certificate of completion, the Diploma or certificate will only be issued once the applicable completion requirements have been met.
These requirements may include attendance, participation, submission of assessments, satisfactory completion of course material and/or payment of all outstanding fees.
Completion of a course does not guarantee employment, placement, promotion, admission to another programme or any particular professional outcome unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.
9. Personal Information & Privacy
The Aleit Academy respects the privacy of students and website users.
Personal information collected through our website, enrolment processes, LMS or other communications will be processed in accordance with applicable South African data protection legislation, including the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), and our Privacy Policy.
Information may be collected and processed where reasonably necessary to administer enrolments, provide educational services, communicate with students, process payments and meet legal or administrative obligations.

Users may not use The Aleit Academy website for unlawful purposes or attempt to interfere with the operation, security or functionality of the website or associated systems.
While reasonable care is taken to maintain accurate website content, The Aleit Academy does not warrant that all website information will always be error-free, complete or continuously available.
11. Third-Party Services
The Aleit Academy may use third-party platforms and service providers for services including payment processing, online learning, communications and website functionality.
The use of certain third-party services may also be subject to the relevant provider’s own terms and privacy policies.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Aleit Academy will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of its website, learning platforms or educational services.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude or limit any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under South African law.
13. Changes to These Terms
The Aleit Academy may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to its programmes, services, policies or legal requirements.
The most recent version will be made available on our website together with the applicable revision date.
Where changes materially affect an existing enrolment, they will be handled in accordance with applicable law and any terms agreed to at the time of enrolment.
