On March 7th & 8th, The Aleit Academy welcomed prospective students, parents, and dreamers to our first Open Days of 2025—an unforgettable experience that showcased what makes our campus so unique and inspiring. When Should You Apply for a Tertiary Institution?

Applying for tertiary education can feel overwhelming, but timing is everything. Here’s what you need to know:

• Plan Ahead: Start researching and shortlisting institutions at least a year before you plan to enroll.
• Application Deadlines: Many institutions, including The Aleit Academy, have specific intake periods, so be sure to check and apply early to secure your spot. At The Aleit Academy, our applications usually close in February and opens in March for the following year’s intake.
• Attend an Open Day First: Before making a final decision, attending an Open Day ensures you make an informed choice about where you’ll be spending the next few years of your academic journey.
• Apply Early for upcoming Open Days: If you missed our March Open Days, don’t worry—we have more Open Days happening in June & October. Make sure to book your spot and start planning your future today. If you are unable to attend an Open Day, schedule an information session virtually or in-person with one of our team members.
• Check Accreditation: Ensure to do your research on the accreditation of your preferred tertiary institutions to ensure what you are studying has value. At The Aleit Academy, we are accredited through CATHSSETA and QCTO.
• Gather all the information: Make sure to compile your latest results, your ID, your parent or sponsors details and other relevant information that the institution might require before doing your application. This ensures that you are prepared when the applications do open for the new year.
